FUND RAISING FOR GROUPS
Is your group interested in raising funds? If so, we think that we can
offer a way to do so that is profitable and a service to your membership.
People are constantly trying to save money on ever increasing car insurance
premiums. The New York State Point/Insurance Reduction Plan through the National Safety Council offers a 6 hour
Defensive Driving class with no tests that gives a 10% reduction
in liability, collision and personal injury
protection for 3 years AND reduces up to 4 points from the driver's license for moving violations.
We can bring this class to any suitable location for a group of as few as
20 students to a class as large as 80. We can also provide the classroom space at Moore Catholic H.S.
Your membership and/or their guests would pay you (a probable tax deduction) and you would
pay us a portion of the fee you charged, keeping a share of the
profit.
One group added to its profit by selling lunch and drinks at a Saturday class.
We would need a place with comfortable seating for all, rest rooms, a TV set appropriate to the
size of the group and a VCR. The class is 6 hours and could be done in 2 evenings or a full day on a weekend.
If you don't have appropriate premises on which to conduct a class, we arrange it at our location at Moore Catholic
High School.
Discuss this with your membership. It's definitely a different way to raise money for your organization.
